@siwonchoi : 어린이에 가해지는 폭력은 근본적으로 옳지 않으며, 어린이에게 막대한 부정적 영향을 끼칩니다. 어린 시절 폭력을 겪은 사람들은 청소년기 더 나아가 어른이 되어서도 행동적, 심리적 그리고 육체적 문제를 겪을 수 있습니다. 불행하게도 캄보디아 어린이들이 가정 외 환경에서 겪는 폭력의 가장 흔한 가해자는 ‘선생님’입니다. 그래서 유니세프는 캄보디아 교육부를 지원해 선생님들이 비폭력적이고 긍정적인 방법으로 학생들을 훈육하는 법을 교육합니다. Violence against children is fundamentally wrong and can have a multitude of long-lasting adverse impacts on a child’s well-being in various aspects. Violence suffered in childhood often leads to a broad range of behavioral, psychological and physical problems in adolescence and adulthood. Unfortunately, teachers were found to be one of the most common perpetrators of violence against Cambodian children outside their home environment. That is why UNICEF is supporting the Cambodian Ministry of Education to train teachers on how to use non-violent and positive methods for discipline in the classroom and at school.
